Here’s a Lionel 2025 from 1951 I restored in late 2021. As you can see the poor loco was rather decrepit when I received it but it was fully disassembled, all parts thoroughly cleaned, motion polished and motor serviced with new brushes/springs installed. The shell also got a new repro smokebox front to replace the original with its missing marker lights. As you can see the loco is just about good as new now!
